Lucas Aardvark was born in southern California in 1981 and currently lives in Los Angeles. Although his artistic talent is mostly innate, in 2003 he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Art Studio from the University of California, Santa Barbara, while also studying at the Art Institute of Chicago, and earned a Master’s degree in Television and Film from Syracuse University in New York.

While living in New York, he won first prize in painting at the New York State Fair. More recently, in Los Angeles, he was featured by LA-Artist.com as one of the top emerging artists in the area.

As a painter, Lucas Aardvark has domestic and international collectors, including the law firm of Clinton & Clinton in Long Beach, California, and the Houston County District Attorney, Texas. His artwork was also used as the cover art for the novel American Spirit by author John Janda.
